Technical Transmission Light

I have a 2016 fiat doblo 1.6A multijet. The past few days I kept having the transmission light on.
When I was on auto, the van went to 3k rpm and not change gear, when i tried manually changing the error "gear unavailable" appeared.
Another instance was the gear dropping to neutral out of a sudden and i couldn't change gear to drive.
I sent the van to the mechanic, they said it was a sensor problem, changed, but same thing happened right after.

I assume it has a Dualogic transmission. It needs regular servicing, which include several actions in a specific order.

From what I have found online, the problems I faced were very similar to a faulty shift solenoid. Because of the "limping" and the sudden gear drop to neutral. How likely do you think that is the problem?

No idea. I almost bought the Ducato Comfortmatic some time ago (so have read a little bit about it), but someone was quicker and thus I was left with the manual transmission. I have no real experiance with this transmission.
