Technical TPMS and equalising tyre wear

I intend to swap the front and rear wheels on my 2022 Ducato, which has TPMS sensors in each wheel, in order to equalise the tyre wear.

Will the onboard TPMS recognise the new wheel positions and adjust automatically or will the new positions need to be manually entered.

It should pick up the pressures have effectively moved and accomodate the slight variation if its an indirect TPMS system. (i.e. it's calculating from wheel rotation RPM rather than actual pressure)
It should also eventually pick up the sensors have moved if it's a direct TPMS system (sensors in each tyre/rim)

each corner will have a slight variance in pressure anyway.

Either way it won't harm at all to confirm all pressures and reset the system anyway after a wheel swap

It's a direct TPMS system. Easy enough to check all pressures on the dashboard, especially as front and rear have different pressures, but how would I reset the system if needed?

I'm unfamiliar with your vehicle , but there's undoubtedly a restart/reset TPMS button/option somewhere in your screen menus

Usually on the TPMS info page itself?

Obvously do it after confirming your current tyre pressure and also whilst fully on level ground

There is no option to reset the TPMS in the screen menus, this is usually only available for indirect TPMS systems.

Does anyone with direct specific experience of the 2022 Ducato TPMS know if the onboard TPMS will recognise the new wheel positions and adjust automatically?

The owners manual suggests it is direct TPMS

There is no option to reset the TPMS in the screen menus, this is usually only available for indirect TPMS systems.

My previous car had direct TPMS and it had a reset/restart button.

But I can't see a reset/restart in that manual
