Hi Andy i was misinformed regarding cutting the bumper so i have a similar cutout as you. my towbar people (in Birmingham) did a great job, i am pleased they fitted a Witter towbar with twin electrics cost £234. however there was a hiccup, the fitter broke the treadplate trim by the rear door, they route the cable here. i was informed by phone so when got there they said it had been repaired and they would allow some money off the bill. I wasn't having that and refused to pay until my Fiat dealer could price up a new part. the boss okayed this so today i was quoted £57.70 supply and fit and booked the car in for tomorrow. returned to towbar fitters where i paid £176.96 for the towbar of course i still have to pay the £57.70 tomorrow for the trim but alls well in the end.

That must be a relatively new witter bracket i searched High and low for a flange ball bracket but couldnt find one anywhere so had to get the swan neck, Wanted a falnge ball to fit a cycle carier plate but never mind i baught one that clamps to the ball which means i cant tow at the same time. and im still waiting for Thule to import the fitting kit for the GP..

At least with the snakemaster plate if some dozy individual rear ends you they will know about it
