what do I need to tow a two wheel trailer with the bravo, and where is best to get it?
thanks

If ever you hear thunka-thunka-thunka from your front wheel, pull over; you may well find you have only two wheel nuts left and both of those are probably loose! Not that that has ever happened to me, honest!

never mind i just spotted the discussion from 4 days ago, jeez thats pricey!

i think roof bars and box is going to be the best option

tow bar

A local tow bar agent is fitting one to my bravo for £199 + VAT all in. Adjustable height ball and single point electrics - fine for a trailer.

Re: tow bar

i paid £150 for a witter on a citreon ZX estate, ring a few places see what you get!

tow bar

I've a Witter on my 205. Am told that there isn't a Witter bar for the Bravo. Also the usual story of it's a long job as the rear bumper has to come off. The place is the only one in the area.

Re: tow bar

just looked on witter's website, you are right, they do one for the brava quite cheap but not the bravo :(

tell them you'll take the bumper off for them and put it back on to save cash :D

Fiat Towbar

I have the Fiat detachable towbar fitted to my Bravo. Cost me seventy quid from a guy selling surplus stock - but I think that definitely was a one of!

However the bar is not made by Fiat, it is made by Ellebi.

The numbers on the ID plate are as follows:
Tipo 01192E
Classe A 50-X

I got it without fitting instructions and I managed to find a supplier on the web who promised me a copy of the fitting instructions - shame I only ended up with a set of Brava instructions.

Unfortunately I didn't keep a note of the sites!

Try a search on Google for Ellebi towbars and see what comes up.

Good luck.

David
