hello, thinking of using my 2ltr 16 valve 2000 model as tow car it has 55k on clock service history belts done tidy car but not sure if it will do the job ! any one using as tow car is it any good . or should i stick to my honda accord ! .

We tow with a 2004 2.0 petrol ulysse, depends on the weight you are towing, our caravan weighs 1100kg loaded, car tows it ok, be prepared to rev it on the hills and you will have to change down a gear or two. we find as soon as you hit 60mph the car will start to pull quite well, but you are then exceeding the limit?, our car has 115000 miles on the clock.

i use my 96 ulysse to tow the trailer tent. i forget sometimes its on the back as it tows it well. my car has 178000 on clock
