Hi all, just bought a Sept.2001 Brava 80SX. Seems OK and quite a clean car but won't know for a few days if I've bought a pup or not. In the meantime maybe someone can give me a couple of tips re the following:
It's got a few nicks on the bodywork which I'd like to touch up - colour is a metallic dark red hint of pink. Anybody know how I can identify the exact name of this colour and when I do where is the best place to obtain some touch up paint?
Secondly, totally forgot to ask the bloke if he had the code for the radio (don't think for a minute he had it anyway)if indeed it has one in the first place - do they always have a code?
Cheers.TOM

if you open the boot the sticker with the paint code should be on the bit next to where the lockin mechanism is, if not fiat should be able to tell u from your reg!

as Stu said - open the boot and look up - if i'm right then it normally says on a silver sticker...

as for the code - my old one didnt need a code but think they're all different...

i bought some from a guy on ebay who has loads of fiat touch up paints/pencils/sticks

gonna see what the colour match is like. as mine is Heraldic blue which is apparently hard to match, (paint code 483/A i think)

his ebay i.d. is mossrosemotors but he is currently away, does alot of fiat stuff.

Thanks Stu and Dan - I'll have a look tomorrow when it's light (paint ref). As for the radio - guess I'll know if I ever have to change the battery (or it goes flat!). Good tip about the bloke on ebay, cheers.
