Im a proud new owner of a 1.4 dynamic.
Im going to be installing this solution for my sat Nav Needs:
A Brodit Proclip, fitted to the drivers side air vent
A Tomtom Car kit for iphone attached to this clip.
However its going to need power - the TT kit comes with a Cigarette lighter attachment.
But that is going to need to travel down the centre column with messney I dont really want.
Does anyone have an idea for a solution? The way I see it I have the following options:
opt 1: Hide/disguise the cord as it travels from the centre console to the lighter socket (how can I do this? Are there clips?)
opt 2: Power the device another way (is ther another power souce I can utilise?)
Im a really beginner when it comes to electrics, but im willing to have a go.
Any advise out there from someone who has had a similar issue of not wanted unsightly cables?
