TOAD setup, can anyone help?? Software config, shock sensors.

I may be able to meet up with someone to help me out with this on Friday, but if i can get some help here first, all the better.


i have a toad C4 and the shock sensor keeps triggering with noisy exhausts

I have set the main and pre-warn tiggers, both to 1 (the minimum) but it still goes off occasionaly.

I need to get into software option 3-7 where i can disable the shock sensor or change its status and disable it, but as i press to buttons on this setting, i should be able to scroll the 4 modes using the buttons, but i can't get into the mode. All it does is scroll fup and down to 3-6 and 3-8.

If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong it will be much appreciated

is the shock sensor firmly mounted?
never had issues on the toad shock sensor.
one i had was sensitive to detect the car getting jacked up but no false alarms

The C4 is a compact so is internal, with the siren, etc. The unit is mounted securley however.

Its driving me mad i can't get into the software menu though :devil:

I may try reseting all the configuration tomo, and trying it from factory default again, but other than that, I'm stumped lol.

i thought the shock sensor had a manual adjustment (i.e. done with a screwdriver) are there any dials which look like they could be turned on the siren housing?

nah, there are no dials and i can adjust the sensititity via the software, but i put it on 1 of 16 and it still triggers with very loud cars and lightening....doh!
