Hi everyone I have just started to look around your fantastic site so I thought I'd say Hi!

I am Andy from North Yorkshire and I own an '87 Panda 4x4. I enjoy regular jaunts across the many green lanes Yorkshire Dales, putting the Panda up against many a Defender and Vitara! Although she gets put through her paces in the mud and rocks she gets well serviced and looked after. I've had the car nearly two years now, never had a Fiat before but always wanted one of these and I love it! I have a close friend who also owns one, a 1989 model which we are currently putting back on the road.

I will keep updated anyone who is interested with pictures of our mad mods and crazy outings, thanks to Dragon Man for getting me started on here and thanks to you all for having me :)

 Hello and Welcome

It's good to see another Pandarer in Yorkshire (y)

Check out the event thread for the next Panday, a chance to meet a few more of us :)

Edit: Aston beat me to it :p

Thanks guys for the comparatively instant warm welcome! Great to know there are more Yorkshirers tearing the place up in Pandas!

I have uploaded my first pic into the members motors bit but obviously can't post URLs until i'm 5 posts old :)

The Panda is fully road legal with some small mods currently, I did have a fully sketchy bull bar off a Bedford Rascal van welded to the front (as you'll see in my pic) but it got slightly bent on a rock so it had to be gone.
Suspension is currently +2cm all round, wheels spaced 20mm a corner, serious 8mm sump gurad and quality bespoke (home made!) roof rack.
Ziarelli Trac 4x4 145/80/13 Tyres from Italy.

I have a few friends in the Italian Panda 4x4 club which is great for getting bits and also learning mods, so I've got a few tricks up my sleeve for this summer :)

Welcome, nice to see another northern Panda(y) Checked your picture, looks good and blimey they're TYRES you've got there! Be great to see you at a few shows and meets (partly 'cause the weather's frequently lousy and a chunky 4x4 is a handy thing to have when your car is sinking into a muddy field;))
Andrew.

Hi welcome to the Classic Panda section. (y)

Like the pics, I wasn't expecting it to look that good given what you do with it .

I'm pleased to see you didn't go crazy with the suspension lift, 20mm is just right, and keeping to standard size tyres is also very sensible as wider ones don't perform as well, they're just for poseurs like me. :D
