Hello...
Just wondering, I need new wipers for my tipo but as they are not the standard "off the shelf" type, can I replace the arms with a more universal type to make replacing the blades more easy?

Thanks

Personally I can find new wipers very easily. Actually the only thing I have to look for is the appropriate length. Except that all the wipers of the market suit to my Tipo. I fing very strange what you say...

Thanks for the quick reply !
Whats throwing me is that the blade holders are fixed at 2 points on the arm and so far I have'nt been able to find any direct replacements.

we replaced the whole arms with ones from the lancia dedra it was far easier when replacing wipers had to be refils with the fiat ones . fiat, lancia , alfa a lot of parts fit from these cars

Yes I will I think.
It just seems a bit strange that some tipos seem to have this odd system whereby the blades are attached to the actual arm making your choice of replacement limited to refills.

Thanks !

As far as I was aware you could purchase wipers from Halfords, C.A.R and loads of those smaller motor shops.

I've never had a problem locating Tipo Wipers, I have some silver ones on the back shelf ready to go on.... but I lost the pastic arm connectors :p

Hi I'm new to all this and have had my Tipo for just over a year, I've given up with trying to find wiper blades for my car and just ask my mechanic to sort it for me!

Blimey !
Thanks for all the replies guys ! (have'nt been back for a while)
I think I will probably go for the brava option, but thanks again to everyone who helped !!!
