Has anyone ever fitted or heard of anyone fitting a V6 Turbo lump from an Alfa 155 into a teepot???? Any links,Advise,would be great.. dazzo

if you look at that site you'll find a load of tipo's with that body kit. it was quite a easy body kit to get back in the day, so i'm told. i have a friend trying to source me 1 if he finds it i'll let you all know where to purchase it lol.

you're right it was an easy Kit to source. when I got my Tipo there were a few sites advertising them however none of them had them in stock and if you wanted one built you were looking at more then £1000 if I remember correctly.
Sorry but that kit is ugly. Even if it is a v6 3.0 the kit just doesn't fit. Look where the rear arch meets the tailgate - its just a flat side.. Doesn't suit the Tipo shape and tries too hard to look like a testarossa.

as the tipo shares some bits with the 155, dont see why the V6 hasn't been tried over here yet.
that body kit reminds me of the old dimma body kits that were fitted to mantas, 205's, R5 turbos and astra 16v's. it not bad, but because of the tipo shape, its very hard to make a body kit that enhances the shape. IMO the standard shape is best. oh, the dedra turbo 4WD rear suspension fits straight on a tipo to make a very nice 4WD conversion. how about a V6 4WD !!! :spin:

i think that a 1.8 or a 2.0 16v turbo with 4WD ( from a Lancia ) is more than enough :devil:

Anyone with ideas... what bhp is obtainable from the V6 turbo?? Will the alfa box fit in a tipo??
