My 1.9 TD seems to over rev when I put my foot down. Normally happens in gear i.e. booting off of a roundabout. It has been suggested that is clutch slippage? If so is it worth bothering getting it repaired?

Cheers

Sounds very much like the Clutch has gone.....
If you are doing the repair yourself yes its worth doing....
Don't know what kind of price a garage change, Wouldn't have thort it would be too expensive.... Don't go to Mr Clutch for god sake.....Cowboys..
The Clutch kit can be bought from the link below at 80.00 i find these guys good and reliable.....

Worth checking carefully to see if there is a fuel/oil leak. I used to get small leaks from the blanked off fuel nozzle (at one end of the head) which ran all the way down and then into the clutch.
