Technical Tipo may go....

...more bloody problems.
So the list now comprises:
Knackered rear suspension (shocks)
knackered exhaust
dodgy electric windows
needs a new headlight
funny fuel gauge and now,
all the lights on the dash have gone off.

As well as new tires and pads needed due to more wear caused by crapy rear suspension, and a lack of power(more than i would expect zorst to cause).

Hmmm, think it may be time to look for a brava/bravo or summit completely different.

I feel for you Mark. Thats a long list or problems even by my tipo's standards! Hope your experience of Fiat's hasn't been too tarnished. You can always have a go of the Sedici if you need a Fast Fiat topup!

I am looking into Marea costs so there might be another abandoned tipo tdsx. Maybe between them they will make a reliable car?

It could do with a little tune up. Other than that its doing well as a 140+ bhp baby silencer

Bravo in black would look the mutt's nuts if you can keep it clean!

Looking for a car to spend a bit of money on if you know what i mean.

Will probably keep the Tipo too but dont feel safe with its reliability and have to go 15miles to work at 7:30am every morning. Kind of stuffed if it breaks down really.

Well to start your info on the Bravo. Sarah's parents just got a reasonably new one - 51 plate I think and its a JTD. Around 2.5k and its in amazing condition.

Its quiet and very gentle on the derv. Looks nice. Comfy and almost no turbo lag. Plus its got all the dependable tipo parts plus some nice modifications to others like the same vented discs i've fitted to my tipo.

sorry to hear about the problems on your tipo mate. i agree with hellcat about getting a black bravo, they look pretty slick, i was thinking about getting a bravo myself after my tipo but ended up with another problem car............punto gt
