I was invited to take a car onto the Hagerty stand at RADwood yesterday. This is a new event for 1980s/1990s Cars at Goodwood Circuit, and a bit of a trek from me.
I gave them a choice of 3 cars which were taxed and ready to go, and the Storm Blue Tipo was their choice. An entirely appropriate colour actually, as we had quite a few storms during the day!
The Tipo is a new car to me, bought from a Forum member a couple of weeks ago. After some fairly frenzied polishing (which has to be redone at Goodwood!) I set off at silly o’clock to get down there before 9am.
It drove very well, and I managed to persuade the marshalls to let a couple of us onto the Goodwood grid for photos. Looks pretty good, and with a few small things sorted I hope it will stay with my collection of oddball Fiats long term.
I thought you might like to see the photos. I’m also hoping to tag Ian (if I can work out how!) who was very keen to see the Tipo go to a good home & made the purchase very easy. :slayer: Iggy64
