Tipo 1.4 No drive through clutch

The car was being driven normally, and then during changing gear, there was a soft noise, and now there is no drive in any gear. The clutch arm and cable seem free and the clutch is smooth, though perhaps a bit lighter than usual.

Is it a gearbox out job? Anything else I can check? The clutch arm seems to be moving normally. Thanks for any ideas.
