Hei.

Our beloved Uno has made a tiny squeeky noise, almost not audible coming from the front somewhere for several months now. Now the noise has gained some dB, so I thought I should check it out.

It is now clear that it comes from the left front wheel. This particular alloy is also warm to the touch, when none of the other three are. So I suspect a brake failure somewhat. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't removed the wheel etc. yet, but will ofcourse. I'd be happy for thoughts...

Yeah, as custard has said, heat means rubbing disc pads....

I am a schizophrenic currently so please bear with me whilst I try to get rid of the 40+ personality.
 
yeah the other guys sound right, mine was doing much the same although had newish pads on it, turns out the little clips on the top + buttom of the pads were the wrong way round and therefore were grinding against the disk
