Styling Tinting help for punto mk1 lights

Hey ppl duno wher to post this lol but could ne1 give me an idea of what to do as i want to tint the lights on my punto mk1. My windows have been tinted they are 70% blacked out. Whats the best stuff to use on the lights and how? lol Thanks​

Hi,

you can just get some tail light tinting spray from somewhere such as the internet or halfords, its really easy to do and looks great

i tinted mine with savage tint spray and some laquer from halfords

came out fine, no reflectors but havent been stopped yet AND i had the police behind me in traffic for 10 mins yesterday.

take lights off

clean lights

spray lightly between 4 - 7 coats (depending on darkness) with tint spray, leave hour between each coat

few coats of laquer to shiny them up

you dont need any lacquer with tint spray if sprayed properly, they come out very shiney without it.

i ran out of spray on my lights so couldnt do it properly lol.

my side repeaters came out nice and gloss but the lights came out slightly matte due to the can running out so i had to use some laquer

dont even bother thinking about it!!

you can get them pre done on ebay for quid, but its just as easy to take them off and do it yourself for a tenners worth of tint spray! You really will fins it extremely hard to mess it up!!

You wont feck it up...cos even if it goes horribly wrong...you can remove it and start again...

i wouldnt want to steal your money as its not a hard job and i spend most of my time in the garage anyway
