tinted lights

will i need to declair that i have tinted rear lights to the insurance or doesnt it matter?

Yep, any mod need to be declaired. Especially any faffing with lights!

Spot on - declare everything mate. It would be awful if your Insurers refuse to pay out in the event of a claim.

when you say any mods, do you mean absolutely everything (changing standard centre console for HGT one, changing LED's in dash, door cards off a HGT etc?

they cant be that demanding surely? otherwise id be phoning them every week!!!

thats a bit silly, could they just say their not going to cover me for those items?

i'l ring them up next week before i put them on anyway

Yes I'm afraid so. Would your Insurers customer service department let you email them the changes?

ok, thanks for the info, much appreciated! I will write them all down so i dont forget any and let them know, there is a claim going through now (not my fault but the 3rd party is disputing it) and they havnt said anything about the door cards.

and i will ask them about e-mails, thanks for the idea! (Only problem is, i may still have to pay the £15 ammendment fee)

If you have to pay the amendment fee, make sure you list all of your modifications at once, no matter how trivial
