Hi guys,

I had to replace the coolant pump in my Uno. I lined up the camshaft sprocket mark with the one on the cylinder head, then removed the pump. While putting it all back I moved the camshaft sprocket back to where I thought it was originally... And now it wont start.

Is it an easy fix to sort the timing? I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Ok so it appears to be working. I just turned it again and it started up. Took it for a drive and all seems normal. Hopefully no more issues.

Sorry for the pointless thread.

Did you line up crankshaft pulley too ?
Also when you think you have it right turn engine over by hand (use socket on bolt on end of crank) just to be sure valves are clearing pistons.
If you feel solid resitance it's wrong !!!
