Hi,

I bought a fiat croma multijet 120 Hp (88KW) from 05/ 2006. The milage is 99.500 Km (62.000 miles). In the manual is written that the cam belt should be changed at 150.000 km (93.000 miles) or 5 years. Shouldchange it or can I wait until 150.000Km?

Change it as soon as possible. The reason being is that they weaken with age as well as KM.

Also I know on the 16v (150 bhp) cars it is recommended that the tensioner and water pump are changed as they have known weaknesses: and if the water pump fails it will throw the timing belt off the pulley.

I don't know if this is the same for the 8v diesel engine. Can anyone else remember?

okay, i will change the belt, watrepump and tensioner. There are 2 tensioners, shoul I change them both?
