Technical Timing belt and clutch

Hi, im new to the forum so please forgive me if these questions have been asked before.

Could someone tell me how long it would take to change a clutch and a timing belt on a 1.9jtd 2001

welcome to the forum. 8 hours for a garage i would reckon

Looking at 5 hours for a clutch in reality it will take them less..but that's if all goes well as mine mainly did...
Timing belt takes 3 hours tops, make sure you do the waterpump while you are there otherwise it has to all come off again!
Also change the various pulleys and tensioners as its just false econonmy not too!
Where abouts are you? Could give u a pointer to a decent garage..

Saying that..I reckon I could do the timing belt in an hour!

I had the clutch, DMF (and the oil seal behind it), cambelt and water pump replaced about a month ago. Labour only cost was £340. I supplied all parts. All the work was done within a day.
