Hi everyone I'm new here.
It appeared that my HGT had cambelt had jumped a few teeth as the aux belt had teared due to catching on the cambelt cover and wrapping around the crank pulley.
I've removed the belt and the head, it doesn't appear to the naked eye that any valves are bent although I will be getting this checked, it did happen on idle. I've rotated the crank slightly to get piston 1 on TDC how can I get the cam in the correct position?
I thought about using the firing order and check which way the pistons are going and working it out but noticed that the ECU uses timing advance and delay.
Cheers for any help.
