yes!!! My current excess is £350. For a car thats worth a few grand paying a couple of hundred quid doesnt bother me. When i first passed my test it was an excess of £500 for a car that was worth £2,500

mine was loads with direct line, every time i added a mod excesses went up, new insurance not only beat quote by a few quid but excesses was about a quater of direct line ones
