Technical Tickover running slow

Hi
When starting the engine from cold and running it for a few miles until the engine is warm it ticks over perfectly when stood still. but if I turn the engine off and then restart it ticks over really slow and seems to struggle.
Any thoughts ideas appreciated

Cheers so is it worth getting the battery changed or do you think its best to get it to a garage to be sure it’s the battery before buying?

Take it to Halfords, they do a free battery test in all their stores, its a lot less fuss than a regular garage.
