Ticking from engine, valve?

Hello, excuse my english.

I just buyed a Fiat Bravo 1.4, 1998 yers model. i have a little problem whit ticking from the engine. i notised that there where to much oil in the engine and i drained it to a propper level as son as possible using a hand held oil pump. but then i whas told that the car had runed 800km whit to mutch oil in it.
the car is still ticking.

Can it be some other problem then the oil level?
can i stop/fix the ticking?
is i dangerus to drive now when its ticking? (exept from the ticking the car workes perfektly)

when my old engine did that it was cams....

If they didnt want it stripping they shouldnt have used nuts and bolts

you need to remove the cam oil feed and make sure it is clean and cam is getting oil.

also change the oil.

if it still does it, change the cam for a new one.
