Just wanted to share our very positive experience of Motorvogue in Northampton...
We ordered a 500 1.2 Lounge in January for our daughter's 21st b'day, paso red with ivory ambience – no extras. We knew it would arrive a few weeks after the event, but as we were getting the exact car we wanted (having searched high and low for a low mileage 2nd-hander), it wasn't an issue. Motorvogue gave us a model to wrap up on the day. Job done.
When we went to collect 8 weeks later, the car had been specced with red/ivory Pop seats, not the 'standard' checked ones. The guys at the dealership were great – as far as they were concerned there was no question that we should accept a car that wasn't exactly as we had ordered it. They got on to Fiat who collected the car the next day to refit the interior, fully acknowledging the build error.
A week and bit later (yesterday!), we went back to collect: Fiat did a fantastic job of rectifying the mistake, refitting the checked seats and door trims faultlessly, and the dealership were stars – we arrived to find free mats installed, first service on the house, with a 500 mouse thrown in and a huge bouquet to make up for the initial disappointment.
