Technical Throttle setting screw size

Hi Chris,

It's a metric M4.0x0.70 and it's 18-20mm long with a simple slotted hexagonal head.

If you happen to have a spare mixture screw from either a 24IMB or a 26IMB (also an M4.0x0.70) and you don't mind butchering it, you can cut off the end and use it as an emergency idle screw though the springs are different.
I've posted a photo. The later 28IMB used a different size mixture screw.

M4.0x0.70 is a common over the counter size in countries that regularly stock metric screws (ie: everywhere in the world except the US). As you are flying the Canadian flag, you should be OK.
The spring should also be easily available as I believe it was shared across the Weber range.

Chris
