Hello all,
After some advice on a persistent problem with my Coupe 20V vis. Won't rev above 4000rpm; starts spitting and misfiring. Changed most of the components I can think of but now I think I may have found the problem - only thing is I don't know how to fix it! My car has had a new Bosch throttle pedal potentiometer spliced into the car's loom. Unfortunately the colours of the six wires coming out of the potentiometer don't match the colours of the wires in the loom. My car has the wires connected as so:
POTENTIOMETER.........LOOM
Brown........................Blue/Yellow
Yellow........................White/Black
Green.........................Blue/White
Grey...........................White
Pink...........................White/Blue
White.........................White/Yellow
I'm hoping that it has been wired incorrectly. Does anyone know if this is correct? If not I would appreciate the correct sequence.
