General Throttle issues on Multijet?

Hi guys, has anybody suffered any throttle issues with a 500 multijet (75hp)?
On my car when I hit just over 1500 rpm the car seems to hesitate slightly. It has always done this since new, but recently it seems to be getting worse, and if I keep the revs steady at 1500-1700 rpm the car feels jerky, as if it might cut out.

It's never actually stopped, and aside from this minor issue is a cracking little engine. Just a bit frustrating is all. Dealer and an independent have hooked it up to Examiner and it shows no faults.

Just because there is no faults it does not mean there isn't one.....what did garages do before codw readers, used their brains!

True. Sadly this seems to be lacking in many garages nowadays!
Do you know if the 500 mj uses a stepper motor for the throttle, or is it just cable operated?
