Styling Thoughts on Black Rims & Door Handles for my 500X? (Photoshop Preview)

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all doing well!

I've been toying with the idea of changing up the look of my Fiat 500X a bit and wanted to get your opinions. I'm thinking about swapping out the original chrome (silver) on the rims and door handles for a black finish.

To get a better idea of how it might look, I've done a couple of quick edits in Photoshop. I'm attaching two photos I'd love to hear what you all think! Does the black work well on the 500X? Do you prefer it over the original chrome, or is the classic look better?

I personnally would go for the black, looks good to me.

Looks cool. My concern would be obtaining the black handles. I don't think they are available from Fiat and any after market makeovers / resprays may not be as durable as the originals. Whilst blemishes on silver tend to be not so obvious on black they will be quite obvious. Build up a few on the driver's door then they will become to look tatty.

Basically a lot relies on the quality and finish of the black handles.

Is it metal? if so, I'd go for powder coating.

What do you want is named Fiat 500X S-Design... from 2018. Beautiful black trims (black + cooper) , very hard to find.

Black wheels always seem scruffy to me.. like a car that's lost its hubcaps, but if you like it.....
