Technical This Beeping alarm

Hi All

I just got a Mk3 04 Punto active sport

Its been fine for a few days, now when i use the fob to shut and alarm the car, the alsrm will do its normal Beeps, but the every 2-3 secs it will do 3 short beeps.

I have checked that all doors are closed and the boot (its a 3dr model), and all seems fine, but it will still do these beeps and wont stop.

I am having to lock the car with the key (and no alarm).

Would be greatful for any help with this one,

try the bonnet mine (the bonnet switch may be faulty) open the bonnet hold down the switch and then arm the alarm see what happens

could be a warning of failed interior movement sensors not sure thou as no idea what alarm it may be

have you got any instructions with the alarm in your pack

if it's a genuine fiat alarm a dealer will be able to tell you what's wrong very quickly
