General Thinking of buying an ActiveSport

Well I currently have a Punto MIA 1.2 8v, which seriously lacks power and is very basic all round. I went round today and found this for sale was just wondering if someone could tell me if there's any problems with the ActiveSport's if not if the price listed is a fair price. I managed to get to lower it to £3799.

I think ActiveSport is only different inside, the engine is the same with yours (slow). Buy Sporting instead

I have an active sport and yes its the same engine but it looks a bit nicer in my opinion but that seems very expensive to me i think if you look round yuo could get one cheaper

If you want an upgrade you should be looking at 1.2 16v sportings as a minimum. I'd look at the 1.4 16v's personally.

I went from and X reg 1.2 8v to a 1.2 16v Active Sport, wouldn't buy a 8v as there isn't too much difference. The only good thing about the upgrade if your getting an 8v is all the electrics (windows, remote locking, sunroof if your lucky) and the car looks nicer.

However over £3000? Are you mad?

My 2003 (53) Mk2b 1.2 16v Active Sport, rare broom yellow, with sunroof, and only 15k miles was only £2200. Ok so it needed a little repair work but was still a cheap car.

For a 8v, without many extra's and average miles you will be looking for about the same, £2200. £3800 is just way too much IMHO.
