A friend of mine was driving along, minding their own business. Someone didn't see them coming, pulls out in front of them from a side road and totals my friend's car.
'Ah bugger' thinks my mate, 'insurance claim time'. This is where the trouble really begins.
Inspector finds the induction kit, which isn't declared on the policy.
Bear in mind that the driver wasn't at fault in the accident, and that the induction kit has no bearing on the events.
Result? The insurance company have voided the policy, and returned the car unrepaired.
Mate now has no transport and no cash.
