Technical Thermostats

Hi can anyone tell me whether the thermostat for a mk1 punto sporting is the same as the 8v? Alot of sites show them as the same but some dont ? Is there any other thermostats compatible such as the gt like on the cinq/sei guides and I also understand that im going to be looking to buy genuine fiat thermostat.

If you're buting a FIAT one, just tell the dealer what car it's for!

I've had no issues with French or German ones, or ones from Halfords.
