Hello,

Does any one know of a guide for changing the thermostat for a 98 bravo hgt?

Many thanks
Pete

Take off all of the pipes that go to the thermostat, take off the old thermostat and put the new one in. Attach all of the pipes to it and bleed the cooling system.

You'll probably find access will be considerably easier if you remove the battery.

Did it myself on the Coupe (same engine as your Bravo) and it was a lot easier without a battery getting in the way.

Get plenty of jubilee clips as you'll probably break the Fiat clips on all the pipes :)

Trickiest bit is the bleeding. Bit of patience needed thats all.
