Well I've had the Multi for a week now and am quite liking it. There are a few small niggles that I will fix (passenger sun visor dropped off today!)
I noticed it seems to take a good old while to warm up, is that right? I work 5 miles from home and its still only warm ish in the cabin when I get there. I would have thought a modern diesel would have warmed up quicker.
Hi, if it helps, I'm a new owner too and did wonder this myself. After owning other diesels in the past, this one does seem to take a while to warm up. My coolant temp shows three bars once warmed up and continues to run at this while travelling along but this does take a few miles to get to three. If I sit "warming" up the engine in the morning, it doesn't even get past one so I eventually just set off
Someone else may know if this is normal behaviour but I'm guessing it's just the way it is with this engine rather than a stuck open thermostat, as it runs just fine etc.
Ah it's not just me then. It's not really a big problem. Mine is just like yours. Runs on the three. I do like it though. Had a Citroen Xm before so this is just a tad different. I do miss the grunt of the Xm though (2.5td).
