Technical thermostat vacuum pipes where to

does anybody have any help with where the thermostat vacuum pipes on a cinq sporting go? and which way round they go?

my brown pipe goes nowhere, but my other cinq doesnt have them as its got an aftermarket air filter on it, whereas this fiat is standard. any help would be great. runs like crap when it gets warm in traffic.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, there's a little barb for it on the bottom of the airbox. There's a picture in the Guides of a throttle body with all of the connections on it, if it's not the one I'm thinking of.
