well parts came Thursday from AA (and the temp sender)
i started it a bit late yesterday, dark halted play! started again at 9, was done by 10 with it all blead down
all i can say is much much better. the temp used to sit around 1-2 notches under halfway wile at 60mph moving back up to half way in traffic.
its at half way all the time now and remains pretty much rock solid. its even stopped the little wobble i used to get on the needle.
most pain in the ass point? bleeding the pipe at the bottom behind the battery for the 2nd time after a run just to make sure it was clear from air locks
