er..what are those things called that fit onto the leading edge of the drivers and passenger windows. Wind deflectors? They're either clear or smoked plastic and about 1" wide. I'm guessing their purpose in life is to provide a more pleasant experience when driving with the window open by reducing wind noise etc. Does anyone know if they're any good?

Theyre quite effective I remember that, keeps noise down but also stops the draft you get from having the window open, good when cold, bad when warm.

I think Joske or Sven have them, a guy from Ireland also used to have them though he doesnt come on here so much nowadays

Yup they make a big difference, especially on motorway etc driving if you dont have aircon etc, i fitted them to my sisters punto jtd, my Bravo and my mums Volvo S40 and they really make it much nicer having the windows open a touch as you dont feel like you've got two jet engines strapped to the side of the car!

I have them on mine, if anything they create more noise!
the good thing is that you can have the window open a little bit in the rain to stop misting inside without getting wet ;)

next thing...where to get them? I've only seen 'em on ebay from Germany for about £60, same for the sunroof one, and i can't see any on the net for the bravo.

Drop me an email at ragingmountain @ gmail.com, i might have a set for sale as bought 2, one for a friend, but he's never picked them up.

There a Fiat part, got mine from my local dealer...34 quid for the two. Really easy to fit and as mentioned they help to keep out the wind and rain :)
