The Yellow and Red Wire

Guys,

I did my research before I fitted my new Alpine head unit and I got that I had to plug the Red Bullet connector into the Yellow Bullet connector. I have tried this including the another Yellow connector into the Red connector and none of these bring my headunit into life.
I have a 2006 GP
Anyideas?
Ill post some pictures later when photobucket decides to work

It's a bit hard to tell without seeing the cars loom. The orange shouldn't change so I would suggest trial and error on the red and yellow ones.

Cheers bud, Got it working it needed another wire to show the car was on.
