I'll start with telling you that I can no longer find a cd immediately from my collection as I used to and I'm blaming having it all backed up on digital for this. Previously I quite liked being able to find a cd instantly because it had registered in my brain where it was when I was looking for something else however it's not quite the same with music in a digital format.

Tonight I went looking for a cd and eventually I located it in a bookcase behind the dvds. And beside that was my vinyl collection which I'm now making the most of despite having converted it all to digital several years back.

Old habits etc.

Watched couple new films on the flight last night, Gravity with sandra bullock, and Captain Phillips with tom hanks, both ok films but spoiled due to poor quality tv's

Really enjoyed Captain Phillips. Gravity...loved special effects thought story was a bit poor though

Was dissapointed by filth. Ome of those films that if you havent read the book you will probably think its ace though.

Haven't read the book so I'll keep the film on the rental list. Came highly recommended from one of the students but he hadn't read the book either. Actually if I'm honest I've only read Trainspotting by Welsh and ignored his other books.

The wind blew the lid of the compost bin into an upright position last night and thus neatly almost solved the problem of repairing the broken window of the shed. There's still a slight gap but not as bad as before
