Ducato The RV Enterprise!

Our 1997 Fiat Ducato 2.5d Swift Royale has been with us for over 8 years and has travelled widely in the UK & France.

Introduction

We never thought of owning a motorhome until friends of ours bought a nice secondhand AutoTrail and we sort of liked the idea of travelling and living in a motorhome. Over the years we’ve stayed at many campsites but now prefer CL sites (no more than 5 vehicles) to the big 30+ sites and occasionally go places with no facilities as were self contained, you get to see the best locations winter & summer.
The years have seen improvements to the van such as additional and new skylights, towbar, LED internal lighting, electric steps, reupholstered, solar panel, overhauled equipment and various mechanical jobs done.
It’s an old RV but dependable, spacious and gives 30 mpg fully loaded and pleasant to live in for holidays, not too big to park either as it’s not much bigger than a high roof LWB van. 👍🏻

I recently got a Royale too. Still getting it ready for now.
Your interior is lovely. It's really nice to see what you've done with the same layout and updates you 've made.

Thanks! They’re decent size cosy motorhomes, easy to drive, park and work on with no troublesome ECUs to ruin it 😉
Just updated the sidemarker lights on the roof, they’re almost as bright as the headlights! Have fun motorhoming 😊👍🏽
