It is now Time to move on to step 2 and here are a few more things I would like to discuss.
I would like any suggestions on the following things that I need to do:

1) Strut-Brace: Yes/No? Pros/cons?
2) Shock Absorbers: I need to replace them. What make/model? Price? (Koni Sport?)
3) Novitec Air Filter: Anyone have it? Did it change the noise at all? The one that goes in the original airbox.
4) Rollbars with Wind Deflector: Does anyone have the rollbars with the clear deflector with the barchetta logo on it? I love it! Where did you get it from? Price for the lot?
5) Rear Exaust unit: Anyone Have the SuperSprint exaust? Noise, feeling comments? Other units recommended? (No DTR please, I m in Greece :p )

I m expecting your comments all as I m really stuck with all these! The only way to get something really good is by asking people who already have them ;)
Thanks!

I have just fitted a strut brace to mine two days ago. Maybe it is all in the head but I think it may have made a difference!! You would probably only notice a real difference if you were throwing it around a race track but for everyday street driving then maybe it is more for show but I'm sure there will be people out there that disagree:D
As for the shockers, I am in the same frame of mind and I think I will opt for coilover set up and disgard the original springs but keep the same ride height. I have the chrome bars that I bought from ebay.de with the Barchetta logo imprinted into each of the hoops, I will get a pic up here for you to see soon. I personally dont like the perspex or any other windbreak, the whole point of a convertible to me is to have the wind iin your hair and on the back of your neck:D By the same token I dont believe in fitting a hardtop to a convertible but then as it is a second car for me and not my everyday driver then I understand why people fit them:)

I fitted an aluminium strut brace and it made a huge difference when dirivng on roads that aren't perfectly smooth. I found the car felt a lot more composed and I didn't get so much "dancing" under hard acceleration. Best mod I did on a Euro/smile basis!

I also fitted a Hormann kat-back as I couldn't get a SuperSprint here in Belgium (long story). I'm very pleased with it.

Hope that helps,

Matt.

PS. Anybody replaced the cat too?

I've got my eyes on a four port exhaust, two ports either side of the car. £450 from DTR and there is a company in Germany doing one as well:)

Here are a few pics of the rollbar, exhaust and strutbrace on my B. Didnt like the look of the stainless exhaust when I bought the car but I have to admit the sound is great:)

Ooh err:eek: I think it's 5 inch:slayer:
Yes that was the exhaust I was referring to, rather expensive but looks sooooo good:D

Bugger - I'm only getting a 4" :bang:: an Inoxcar 102 - the cheepest one I could find ... :hm:

Dear All,
I would like to thank you once again for your replies.
I have just found the roll bars with the clear windbreaker with the barchetta inscription on it for 400 euros (new from Holland).
I will also fit a stut-brace from OMP which costs 100 euros.
As far as the exaust is concerned, I am looking into a custom exaust that has two round pipes on each side but I m not quite sure where to get it from. I see though that it will cost nothing less than 700 euros.
Bilstein B6 Sport will be my choice for shock absorbers since I do not want to lower the car and I dont want to make it too stiff (its stiff enough already for the bumpy Greek roads).
I will also try the Novitec air filter that simply replaces the paper factory type one and let you know if there is any benefit at all.
Best Regards to all and if you have any further comments on what I just wrote, please speak before it is too late :D

Check out www.dtrsports.com

They do a 4 pipe exhaust which I'm sure someone on this forum had imported from the UK to overseas. Your price of 700 euros seems about right.

I recently found some Czech made exhaust while looking for one for mine; it had one pipe on each side with some nice metal square thingies adding to a killer look, but I can't for the life of me find the link...:( You should definately Google about for that; not sure if it's nicer than the 4 pipes (as I sadly can't quite remember what it looks like), but as far as I can remember it would def. be worth considering if you're gonna shell out that much money.

Doh - didn't notice that it was different bumper - was too busy admiring the exhaust . Looks like this, though :yum:.

I may have one of the 'blingest' bs on here but I think that exhaust (and the bumper) look bloody horrible.

Single outlet oval pipe is the classiest look for the back, I reckon.
