General That Multipla sound.............

Just dropped my daughter off at school and saw the first Multipla (other than mine) I've seen up there. Actually I heard it first; sitting empty in the car park with its siren howling. Hot late Summer's afternoon, drive with the sunroof open (as you do), use the remote central locking but forget to close the sunroof first. Gentle breeze springs up, moves the air inside the car and that's all it takes:yuck: ............... Jim.

Don't think so; even if the windows could be closed by remote control (and wouldn't that be a safety hazard) it would have to close the sunroof as well. Service manager at the local Fiat dealer told me he thinks that the system can be set using their diagnostic computer to either enable or disable the alarm and still have remote central locking. He's going to check to see if the same kind of sequential button presses on the key fob as is used to enter the emergency start code, could let customers do this themselves. I should know next week; I'll post his answer here.

Stilo and Bravo can close their windows by holding down the 'lock' button on their key fob. Not a safety issue as it's controlled by the person with the feyfob and the windows i'd imagine have anti-choke devices.
