Well the time has come where I have departed from my Stilo, I just wanted to say thanks to the forum for all the help I received from it, it certainly saved me a lot of money! My Stilo has been sold and the Audi awaits! (don't judge :p )

Don't be one of the ultimate low of the low life and get cheap overly blue 'upraded' lights fitted

hahahaha, I literally just changed the bulbs on the Audi in the last hour ;) I have to say that it's a hell of alot easier than on the Stilo!! They were Philips high performance bulbs which are properly E-market etc... none of this eBay riff raff

Sounds like you're lucky. My A8 had factory Xenon; to change the bulb on that it's air suspension into jacking mode, so you don't explode the shocks, front wheel off, wheel arch liner out, then you can either try and fiddle the bulb out from the back of the light via the wheel arch or continue to remove the front bumper.

Good luck with it, hope you enjoy it.

Oh my, that sounds like a lot of effort, worse than the notorious Stilo! I changed both bulbs in less than 5 minutes, simply pull the cap off and pull the bulb out! So happy with that, spent many hours changing bulbs on the stilo. Usually having to remove the battery/electronics and/or wheel and wheel arch! (n) Ooh, an A8, I bet she is gorgeous

I hope I have good luck with it too, it's going to be my university commuter :p I am very much so enjoying it now, thanks!

Here we go. You think having an Audi will help you with the ladies on campus. [emoji16]

I suspect he just plans to use it to get to and from university, from my experience no one male or female care one jot about what you drive at uni, as long as you take them to the supermarket in it so they don't have to get the bus or walk.

Having a car as uni usually holds back drinking activities, and going out drinking and socialising is far more likely to get you laid than driving any make or model of car

Yeah, that's right. Mainly just to get up there and to allow me to work in the evenings by commuting. I was giving my friends lifts in it (old car) because the supermarket is a long walk and it really helps with heavy shopping as the distance makes big shops more common.

Yeah it would but I rarely drink anyway, almost teetotal tbh. Ditto to the last part, then again I didn't buy an Audi to get laid :p

Someone at uni drove a lamborghini for a while, daddy's credit card much  Pretty sure it stopped turning up because jealous people were damaging it. Shame really, it was pretty to look at!
