Usual stuff if its a used car.
Tyres for uneven wear, listen / feel for rattles from engine at start up suspension or interior trim over un-even roads. Make sure all the gears select easily & smoothly & that the clutch is biting around 2/3's of the way up. You shouldnt see smoke from the engine, check the oil level before you start up & look at the Service history.
Check it doesnt pull left or right on acceleration, look for fluid leaks where its parked up, check for general body neglect, stone chips, kirbed wheels, make sure all the electrics work.
As I said, all usual stuff...
If it's new thats a different case PDI checks should have been done & there is a Warranty to cover stuff that might go wrong.
Had my GPS 1.9 MJet 4 years now, never had any major issues in 72,000 miles, any stuff that went wrong was done under warranty, since then I had a new EGR & new front springs. Car has been & still is brilliant!
