Temporary Registration

I have noticed a few peeps registering to gain help with a fault, they get help then never come back, is peeps with inactive accounts an issue? If so a temp account like active for a week coudl be useful.

Anyone know what I'm on about?

sounds like a good idea to me. tidy up the calendar on birthdays too.

I think it'll be alot easier to have your account deleted after a period of inactivity. i think theres a function to do that built into this forum as standard

This has been discussed before!

There is no server space problems, btw.

The reason we keep them all 'live' is so that when you look on the home page, you see the forum has 8000 odd members - looks good

Seems to me who cares if you've got members not posting I'm sure every forum has the same.

Anoying though when questions get answered and the person who asked never comes back, but I don't see what can be done.
