Hi guys.

I drive a x reg bravo 1.6 hlx. I've had it for about 3/4 months now. Its running fine, realy well. When i bought it, and up till now the temperature light has sat perfectly in the middle of the gauge. middle of this week i noticed it moved just above centre, and tonight ive noticed that its creeped slightly higher, its between the centre, and the first dot after the centre. Anybody help?

Are you sure mate? I know its probably nothing, just a bit worried you know! Anybody else had a similar thing happen or what are your temp gauges at? cheers

The fan will cut in 1 notch over half way.

Sitting at half way is fine.

As above, sounds fine to me...

My HGT sits around halfway, with a bit of slight fluctuation now and again..

Thanks guys who replied. Theres plenty of water in it and all, so its probably nothing at all to worry about! Just never know, so thought id ask on here seems as most peeps drive bravos on here and might have had a similar experience. thanks again

yepp its fine i have had 2 bravos now... and both do the same... sometimes half way sometimes a bit more.. but when the fan kicks in it will go down.. nothing to worry about its normal for bravos:)

Wicked wicked wicked! Love bravos, think their great cars. Only prob i have with it is petrol gauge is dodgy, real dodgy! and it steers to the left quite badly at times, so probs tracking and going to get the electrics checked for the petrol gauge

if it steers heavy left, its probably more than just tracking. plus, your tyres will be wearing badly. Check the balljoints/ARB bushes etc are all ok too, otherwise you'll waste £25 on laser alignment...

Really? I was first told that every car slightly drives to the left if you let go of the steering wheel due to the canvas of the road. The left front wheel was slightly low too, so i pumped it up, made a small difference but not dramatic. Im not a mechanic and don't know a great deal about cars, what would you advise me to do if i go to a garage? thanks

how old id your car and do you know if suspension, suspension arms, ARB have ever been changed? as buzz says you will be wasting your money as if you get these changed you will have to get trackin done again

Its x Reg (2000) and has only done 33'000 miles. IT runs fine, the pull to the left isnt dramatic, just annoying! I just dont want to take it to a garage and have my arm bitten off if its not really a major problem
