Taxing a car without logbook, tax reminder and insurance docs?!?!?!

Morning all

My Saab needs taxing, but as of yet the docs havent turned up

Is there anything I can do? first thought is to ask the previous owner for the internet code thingy from the reminder, only prob is I am supposed to be leaving for Cornwall at the weekend and the Tax disc probably wont turn up in time, and a Failure to display is not something I want...

So, is there anything I can do, or will I be taking the Alfa instead?

I should be mate, I think I will only be down there for the begining as its our anniversary on the 4th, so should kinda see the lady friend!
