Tail lights

To my discovery today I have found that the plug for my tailights looks fried on one side and my tail lights dont work along with my dash lights does anyone have ideas of what this could be from or if this is common on a 1997 Fiat Bravo GT Diesel

No would'nt be common, the light wiring would be the same across all models. Maybe the wires shorted there?

Yea

That's what It looked like to me however I have no clue why where is the fuse box located on this car? Maybe I can look there for blown fuses perhaps first then I will determine if the wires are getting juice with a light tester. The wire plug that plugs into the light housing that has the several lights attached to it one side of it looked a little black as if it did short somehow so maybe that is why then blew a fuse?
